Bhubaneswar. Hockey India on Sunday announced its new policy under which both male and female team members and support staff will be given annual cash incentives. According to this policy, Hockey India will give 50 thousand rupees annually to the players of both men’s and women’s teams and 25 thousand rupees to the support staff.
Hockey India president Dilip Turki said in a release, “I am completely confident that the morale of Indian teams will be boosted by this announcement because now they are preparing for the World Cup and Asian games.” While the core group of every player is working, this kind of encouragement will attract young people to hockey.
Hockey India also announced that they will give two lakh rupees to each player of the tenth Sultan of Johor Cup and one lakh rupees to the support staff. Let’s say that Dilip Tirki is currently the chief of Hockey India and he is taking new policies for the players and their interests.
