Google has launched Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro as its new smartphones in India. The second generation smartphone is equipped with the Tensor G2 chip. Under the launch offer, cashback of up to 8,500 rupees is being offered to customers. The Pixel 7 has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, while the Pixel 7 Pro has a triple camera setup, including a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. Both have a 10.8-megapixel selfie camera and come with IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. The company said that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will receive a five-year security update.
This year, Google has announced new camera features for the Pixel 7 series. This includes support for a new ‘cinematic blur’ feature that provides a dramatic blur effect when recording video on the Pixel 7. The high-end Pixel 7 Pro will introduce a ‘macro focus’ feature that will allow users to click photos of things up to 3cm away with HDR+ photo quality. Both models will be the first to introduce the ‘Photo Unblur’ feature on Google Photos, which uses machine learning to improve old or blurry photos.

Google says that the Pixel 7 Pro will have a new ‘macro focus’ feature that allows users to take close-up pictures of things.
