Auto Industry: September month is over. Data has been released regarding the sale of two-wheeled vehicles by car and motor companies. In September 2022, the total sales of two-wheelers increased by 9% from 3,32,511 units in September 2021 to 3,61,729 units in September 2022. Domestic two-wheeler sales recorded a 16% increase from 244,084 units to 283,878 units in September 2021. The motorcycle registered an increase of 2% with sales of 169,322 units in September 2022, up from 166,046 units in September 2021. The scooter registered an increase of 39% with sales of 144,356 units in September 2022, up from 104,091 units in September 2021.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has given information

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited on Saturday reported a 27.55 percent increase in total sales to 86,750 units in September. The company sold 68,012 units last year in this month. In September 2022, domestic sales were 72,012 units while exports were 14,738 units. Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) said in a statement, “This is the highest monthly and domestic monthly sales figure recorded by the company since its inception in 2006.”

Maruti Suzuki India’s sales increased significantly

The country’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India, on Saturday recorded a two-fold increase in total wholesale sales to 1,76,306 units in September.

The company was successful in sending 86,380 units in September 2021 due to a severe shortage of electronic equipment. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement, last month the company’s domestic sales doubled to 1,54,903 units compared to 68,815 units in September 2021. Sales of mini cars including Alto and S-presso increased to 29,574 units compared to 14,936 units in the same month last year.

In the same way, sales in the compact segment, including Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and Dzire, increased by 20,891 cars to 72,176 units in September 2021.
In September 2021, sales of the sedan Ciaz increased to 1,359 units compared to 981 units. MSI said that sales of utility vehicles, including the Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and Ertiga, increased to 32,574 units compared to 18,459 vehicles in the previous month. The company said that exports increased from 17,565 units last year to 21,403 units in this month.
