US postpones ICBM test due to heightened tensions with China over Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan – International news in Hindi


Concerned by China’s aggressive response to the visit of American House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, America has long suspended the proposed intercontinental ballistic missile test. China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has started military exercises near Taiwan in response to Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. After that, America has decided to suspend the test flight of an intercontinental ballistic missile this week.

Pelosi held talks with Taiwan’s top leaders on Wednesday, which China has expressed displeasure with. John Kirby, coordinator of the National Security Council for Strategic Communications, said on Thursday that the Minuteman-3 ICBM test scheduled for this week has been rescheduled. He said, ‘Hamara mannana hai ki tsana ke mahran dena hmare hit men, Taiwan k het men ya kshetra ke hit men nahi men hai. This is the reason why the test of Minuteman-3 ICBM missile has been postponed.’

Actually, China shares its territory with Taiwan and opposes its relations with foreign governments.
