Six pilots from India will be at the World Paramotor Championship to be held in Brazil

Prabhu Sukumar Das, a Telangana businessman who initiated paragliding and paramotor in government through his company Vertical World Aerosports and Adventure will represent India in the World Paramotor Championship 2022 which will be held in Brazil. in April.

Sukumar is one of six pilots from India (the only one from southern India) to take part in the competition. Sukumar says, “We will be participating as a team. Our group studies on the various methods of testing will begin from the first week of April. Until then we have to practice on our own, using time and method.”

All pilots must have a 120-hour flight and must have the approval of the Federation Aeronautic International.

The group was in Wasai, Maharashtra last month to teach a variety of techniques. The means by which the resolution will be established, are the correct slope and departure, the correct material (flying a certain distance with less fuel) and a timely discharge of water on the airways.

In the run-up to the competition, Sukumar says, “Only the pilots who competed in the National and Asia Oceanic Championship are eligible to participate. At the 2018 Asia Oceanic Championship in Thailand, the Indian team won the bronze. “About 60-70 pilots come to the competition every year in Brazil.
