By 2021, the threat of a new corona wave is approaching the country. As a result of the accident, the Center has called on countries to reopen their Kovid military bases. The number of patients with Omicron syndrome each day is increasing. On Wednesday, 125 cases of Kovid-19 cases were reported in Delhi, the highest in the last 6 months. So far 57 people have been infected with the Omicron virus in Delhi.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has banned Christmas and New Year’s celebrations and events at headquarters. DDMA has called on all government officials to adhere to COVID guidelines. Along with these, instructions have been provided to conduct in-depth research to identify the most affected areas, districts, markets, shacks and most populated areas. These areas may be the largest publishers or most accessible Kovid sites.

Other governments have also taken action. The Haryana government has ordered that the vaccine be distributed to all government officials from January 1. As of January 1, only those who have received the vaccine will be allowed to enter the stalls, movie theaters, weddings, hotels, offices, banks, bus depots and trains. New Year’s celebrations throughout the state have been banned in Karnataka from December 30 to January 2. New Year’s Eve events in clubs, pubs and dormitories have been banned. New Year’s festivities have been banned at Marina Beach and other beaches in Chennai. The time to reach home is extended to December 31 in 8 cities in Gujarat. The Punjab government has decided not to pay workers who did not take both doses of the vaccine.

Although about 500 corona sufferers are reported daily in Mumbai, the prevalence of the virus is growing. New species of Omicron are spreading rapidly, in the last 20 days the number of people infected with the virus has risen from 2 to 236. Experts say the third corona wave could come in February. Now people are asking if the third wave will be as deadly as the second wave, will there ever be a shortage of beds in hospitals, will we ever stretch out our hands to get air, and there will be a complete closure. They are also asked if all those who have received all the doses of the vaccine should receive an additional third dose.

There are long lines of people waiting to be vaccinated in the United States and Australia. U.S. President Joe Biden has announced that the government will send 500 million emergency test kits for door-to-door testing starting next month. There the government will send troops to help hospitals filled with Kovid patients. America is once again facing an epidemic. In the UK, where about 80 percent of the population has been vaccinated, 1,06,122 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. On average, more than 90,000 cases of Kovid are reported daily in the UK. Long lines form outside the Covid testing area as the disease rate rises in Australia.

But the people of India do not care at all about the dangers of corona and this is a matter of concern. In our big time show ‘Aaj Ki Baat’ Wednesday night, we showed how big Delhi markets like Lajpat Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Chandni Chowk and Laxmi Nagar are witnessing a growing number of buyers. In the crowd, many people were walking around without their faces covered. A similar crowd was also seen in the Crawford Market of Mumbai and other markets. The Patna market was full of shoppers and most people just walked around without masks. This comes at a time when the Center repeatedly urges governments to adhere strictly to Kovid’s guidelines.

I spoke with many senior doctors and medical professionals today. Most of them said there was a risk of the epidemic, but to the extent that no one can say what they are saying today because people who have taken both doses of the vaccine are also getting corona. Dimple Yadav, wife of Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, wrote Wednesday that Kovid and his daughter’s exams are hopeful. In his tweet, he wrote, ‘I have a complete vaccine. Currently, the symptoms do not appear. For the sake of the safety of myself and others, I have kept myself. All those who have met me recently have been asked to be investigated soon.

It is true that the disease can occur even if you take a full dose of the vaccine, but the side effects will be minimal and unless there is another serious illness, the patient will not even need to go to the hospital. People over the age of 70 with other illnesses may need to go to the hospital if they become ill. The virus can be fatal. Experts say that people who have been given both types of vaccines for six months, may need extra doses. With no shortage of vaccines in India right now, exercise vaccines can start early. It is true that Omicron’s differences are spreading rapidly, but they are not as dangerous as the Delta differences that brought the second wave in April-May this year.

At this point caution is needed. If people take precautionary measures in public places, avoid crowded places and wash their hands often, they can protect themselves from the virus. In that case, there will be no shortage of beds and air in hospitals. Kovid management analysts say at the moment there may be no need for closure. This is only possible if you do not have a lot of traffic in public markets and places, or even new ones. Omicron These differences can change quickly and spread to more people. This is certainly a matter of great concern to all. (Rajat Sharma)
