Shardul Thakur replaces Axar Patel in India’s biggest team inside T20 World Cup


With Hardik Pandya, who plays the Indians of Mumbai, maybe not playing bowling through the IPL due to physical fitness, the referees wanted an address.

Shardul Thakur whom played hard on Wednesday to displace Axar Patel in India squad the T20 World Cup to be held in UAE and Oman from October 17.

Thakur, 29, is pleased along with his 18 wickets in the IPL at the Chennai Super Kings.

With Hardik Pandya, whom plays for the Indians of Mumbai, not playing bowling throughout the IPL as a result of fitness, the referees wanted a cover.

“The selectors felt they had been a small pacer and that Hardik Pandya would not play, they required a player inside big team,” a supply close to the selection committee told PTI.

“Axar remains standing if Ravindra Jadeja is injured, he will go back to the senior group. Until Jaddu plays, Axar will never be needed.” In accordance with PTI, the selectors included Harshal Patel as one of the top scorers for the Indian team.
