Former England supervisor Michael Vaughan claims Virat Kohli “could not have inked better” in several cricket matches as a captain and feels “incompetent” if he considers himself the captain associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). admits Kohli had not yet told the UAE of the IPL to move straight down as RCB captain by the end of this season. He has announced he will step down as captain of the nationwide team from a very limited time after the T20 World Cup.
Vaughan told ‘Cricbuzz’, ‘You need to actually think he can’t prosper in ODI and T20 cricket the nationwide team with Royal Challengers Bangalore.
“The form of skill plus the team he works for is one of the best. The RCB happens to be extremely active in the war for many years.
“This year because of the skills of (Glenn) Maxwell, Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal, in addition they had bowling support batting but remained definately not the title.
Kohli’s nine-year journey as RCB captain finished with a four-wicket defeat by Kolkata Knight Rider in Sharjah at Eliminator match on Monday.
